Description

Amazing clear, cold, but moonlit stretch of worknights means imaging from the crappiest skies around. Very bright skies, poor transparency and so-so seeing made this a tough one to put together. I have never had to process so many frames before. This is a record for me as far as total integration goes. 17.6 hours.......WHEW!

After all was said and done, my RGB data was very disappointing. Background was very bright and just faint wisps of red nebulosity. I knew that I would be using it largely for star color, but damn, I didn't expect the rest of it to be so awful. OIII data was definitely better, it captured the "laser beam" rather well. Ha data was overwhelming as usual. Since I set up and broke down every night, there were some frame rotation artifacts that I had to crop out.
