Description

After all the galaxies, star clusters and nebula areas in the last few month I decided to use my nice little APO again to do an image somewhere in the rich star area of our Milkyway. :-)

And the Coathanger is a perfect object: Located in the constellation Vulpecula near the border with Sagitta we can find this random group of stars located . Collinder 399 is also known as Al Sufi's Cluster or Brocchi's Cluster. The brighter members of this star cluster form an asterism also known as the Coathanger.
