Description

While a lot has been written about C2022/E3 ZTF, the tails of the comet were the elements that took me by surprise. While I heard of the anti-tail for the first time, all thanks to this comet - I had expected it's ion tail to be much shorter in images than a 5+° behemoth that I could expose with an 85% moon close to it. This comet still remains a tad too overhyped for me, but considering this is the first comet of which I've produced a proper image, I'd like to grab it with open arms.
Also, no matter how much I try to like this image, the output doesn't justify to me the amount of work I've put in to get this image out, not to mention tons of things that I tried hoping to get a clean enough image, but sadly didn't work the way they should've. But curiosity is probably what brought me into this hobby, and doubtlessly a lot of new learnings dawned while creating this image, right from shooting to pre-processing and the final process!

Captured on Feb 01, 2023 when the comet was at Perigee.
