Description

Another one of those rare clear nights.

The full rig in motion including guiding and dithering this time.

That night I had guests.

Two young villagers came along and decided to spend their Saturday night around my gazing spot. First they were very interested in the topic but since I still got to get the rig up and running they got bored and suddenly disappeared. Little later they showd up again because they ran out of cigarettes which they had to organize meanwhile as they now explained. Since temperature was below -5 C° they started to freeze so the guys were thinkging of how to fight the frostiness. Their conclusion was to enter the minibar at the home of one of the guys closest to my astrophotography place. So an hour later they were back again with a bottle of vodka which was drained straight away.

Meanwhile I had concerns about somebody could stumble upon the tripod's legs and thereby spoiling my astro night.

But I had luck and the guys fall short of their expectations that drinking alcolhol bottlewise could help against the iciness and they finally disappeared.

The clear night was mine again.

But I had some entertainment and data aquisition was kind of diverting that night.
