Description

During 5 clear nights I collected 34 hours of LRGBHO data of which 31h40m were usable for processing.
This is by far my longest exposure sofar especially in order to retrieve the Ha structures in the spiral arms of this beautiful galaxy.
I have learned to use PixelMath in Siril to combine the different colors with help of an article by Eduardo Luca Radice on his website
http://www.arciereceleste.it/tutorial-pixinsight/cat-tutorial-eng/85-enhance-galaxy-ha-eng using PixelMath in PI.
With this method I have enhanced the Ha signal.

Title: Messier 106 reprocessed

Description: In my former publication of Messier 106 I used pixelmath in Siril for the first time to combine the Ha and OIII channels with RGB. Later, making use of the same basic files, I learned to add the L-channel in Photoshop. This did improve the S/N considerably, justifying a revision.
