Description

I took this picture at Grand Canyon National Park during the Astronomy Party in June.  My mobile rig is a 6" Celestron with v4 HyperStar and ASI 2600 mc as my primary imaging camera.  I believe the large sensor and the steep light cone causes coma on the edges that do not come out with calibration frames and processing.  Until now.  I performed WBPP in PixInsight, and then processed using my workflow (DBE,  SCNR, SPCC, BX using the new AI4, NX, SX, Hoo normalization of starless image and then GHS, arcsinh stretch of stars, and pixel math to recombine).  The new AI for BX is really showing its power to reduce coma and diffraction spikes.
